Requirements Include:

1. Online Mandated Reporter Training

• See link HERE

• Register, login, complete 1.5 hour online training

• At completion of training, you will receive a certificate. SAVE IT!

2. Fingerprinting and CPS Clearance

• Reach out to your team leader and/or information can be found HERE

• When complete, you will receive a letter from DCPS. SAVE IT!

3. Verification Form

• Complete THIS FORM which includes uploading the DCPS letter.

This background check process is good for 2 years!

These schools have accepted ACE DC's policies for background check and training. There are no additional steps.

Requirements Include:

1. Volunteer Form

• This can be found in Step 1 HERE

• Download and complete the Parent/Guardian and Community Volunteer Form. under "Type of Volunteer Work Preferred", select "Special Program" and type "ACE Mentor Program of America"

2. Online Training

• This can be found in Step 2 HERE

• Complete the mandatory online course Recognizing Child Abuse and Neglect Training

3. Contact the School

• See Step 3 HERE and reach out to your team leader with any questions

4. Complete the Verification Form

• Please complete the verification form HERE

• This must be completed each year.
